Does anyone know the history or where I can research the history of that huge, delapidated house and property that is right on Pleasure Point? It's called Casa Del Mar and has the huge sculpture that rotates with the wind in front, you cannot miss it.

My friends live there, and they have heard various stories that it use to be a filling station, and also a brothel at one point. There are little cabins that are on the side that would make sense to that.

Any help would be appreciated. It's too bad that the place was let go so much, because once the current owner dies it will surely be turned into condo central, much like the properties next to it.

Unless of course if it has some cultural or historical significance that is documented or can be researched. ;)
