We recently bought a house in Scotts Valley. It was built in 1928. Added onto many, many times. We call it the Winchester mystery spot. We know there's history to it. It has the original Trout Farm bar in the 'basement'. It has a HUGE pool on the property (not working currently). Older people we know have said that they remember there being huge parties at the house when they were young. So, I'd like to know more about this old house.
ideas on how to go about that?

Re: Information I'm looking for
Tue, September 20, 2005 - 12:06 PMStart with the book Every Structure Tells a Story, which is available at the public library and tells you how to begin researching properties in SC County. Then, once you have the names of previous owners, it's time for newspaper archives. -
